This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Consultant, Value Engineering based in India.

Accountabilities:


As a Principal Consultant, Value Engineering, you will lead end-to-end value consulting initiatives by combining analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and AI-enabled solutions. You will help clients and internal teams identify opportunities, quantify business impact, and create scalable approaches for value realization.



  • Lead value engineering engagements, including value insights, business case development, and value realization frameworks.

  • Own strategic opportunities from discovery through execution, ensuring measurable outcomes and business impact.

  • Develop AI-enabled solutions, including agent-based workflows, to automate data gathering, insight generation, and reporting processes.

  • Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources to identify value drivers and quantify business benefits.

  • Build executive-level dashboards, scorecards, benchmarking reports, and value narratives for senior stakeholders.

  • Translate analytical findings into clear, compelling recommendations tailored to business objectives.

  • Design scalable analytical models, reusable assets, and automated workflows to improve efficiency and repeatability.

  • Develop and implement value measurement frameworks to track ROI and long-term outcomes.

  • Collaborate with consulting, analytics, product, and sales teams to support strategic initiatives and value-based solutions.

  • Support client engagements through data-driven recommendations, solution validation, and continuous improvement.

  • Leverage emerging technologies such as AI assistants, automation platforms, and agent-based tools to enhance consulting capabilities.

  • Lead discussions with senior leaders and influence strategic decision-making at Director, VP, and executive levels.


Requirements:


The ideal candidate is a strategic consultant with strong analytical capabilities, business understanding, and experience using data to influence decision-making. You should be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and translating complex information into meaningful business outcomes.



  • Master’s degree or MBA from a recognized institution, combined with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, value consulting, data analytics, data science, or related roles.

  • Proven experience working with senior stakeholders, including Director and VP-level audiences.

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and executive storytelling.

  • Experience developing business cases, ROI models, value frameworks, or measurable outcome strategies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to analyze large datasets and convert insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across global and cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools, automation platforms, or agent-based AI solutions is preferred.

  • Experience in consulting, benefits analytics, or client-facing analytics environments is an advantage.
