In this senior technical leadership role, you will design scalable, secure, and automated platforms that enable fast and reliable software delivery across global teams. You will act as a key driver of DevOps maturity, embedding CI/CD best practices, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps principles into engineering culture. Working in a highly collaborative, innovation-driven setting, you will influence architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and define operational excellence standards. This role is ideal for a seasoned DevOps expert who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and enabling large-scale cloud transformation.
Accountabilities:
- Lead DevOps transformation initiatives across the organization, defining maturity models, best practices, and long-term platform engineering strategy.
- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and scalable CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, secure, and automated software delivery.
- Architect and optimize cloud-native environments focusing on performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices, including automated security testing, compliance controls, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning within delivery pipelines.
- Establish robust observability, monitoring, SLI/SLO frameworks, and incident management processes to ensure system reliability.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, cloud cost optimization, and infrastructure performance tuning.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity across critical production systems.
- Mentor engineering teams, promote DevOps culture adoption, and contribute to training and capability-building initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles, including strong hands-on experience with AWS and Git-based workflows.
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating software delivery processes.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, cloud security practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading technical transformations, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-team alignment.
- Familiarity with observability platforms, incident response practices, and production system management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
