As a Principal Engineer in our technology department, you’ll have the chance to:

Design and plan of multiple complex projects and have a good record of time estimate vs actual delivery

Identify & evangelize frameworks and methodologies for building highly available, high-performance systems. Ensures that design/architecture documents incorporate these practices.

Strong understanding of business and product vision, can wear the hat of product manager when he/she is not there

Introduce new tools and methodologies when appropriate to simplify or increase efficiency of development. Drive evaluation of new tools via POCs

Is an expert with non-functional requirements such as Performance, Security, Availability. Understands infrastructure as cattle not pet

Who are your stakeholders?

Key stakeholders include the Product Leads of various products, Leads of various teams across Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Trading departments.

What you’ll bring

10+ years’ experience developing with an Object-Oriented Language

Hands on expertise building multi-tier web applications, Microservices based architectures, Distributed & multi-tenant systems and design patterns.

Experience building scalable systems

Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

Experience working on CI/CD pipelines

Extremely good communication and presentation skills.
