ID:\n\nJR95583 Principal Engineer, ASIC Digital Design\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\n## Position Description:\n\n * To be part of a highly skilled and challenging high speed PHY design team working on the latest technology nodes (5nm and below).\n * Define the digital architecture and microarchitecture of the IP\u2019s and its sub functions\n * Responsible for all aspects of digital design from specification to silicon along with its integration with SoC.\n * Active involvement in problem solving and implementing opportunities for improvement.\n * Driving innovation and develop new architectures for best-in-class solution\n * Mentoring and coaching other design team members on technical issues\n * Pair with similar domain specialists across other geographical locations on core technical initiatives\n * Pair with Analog designers to ensure smooth interface between Digital and Analog circuits\n * Equal opportunity position with excellent pay package!\n\n\n\n## SKILLS required: \n\n * Experience in end of end ownership of digital design of at least one of the ONFI, DDR, LPDDR, MIPI or PCIe PHY OR similar IP from specifications to silicon\n * Experience of silicon bring and debug of aforesaid IPs\n * Experience of leading a team of digital designers and collaborating with verification and physical design engineers\n * Strong fundamental knowledge for Verilog and scripting languages, timing closure, DFT, Synthesis, Lint \u0026 CDC\n * Strong knowledge of Asynchronous domain transfer schemes, cores, APB/JTAG\n * Working knowledge of RTL2GDS flows\n * Experience of working with Analog team for Mixed signal data paths\n * Experience in leading R\u0026D and future technology development projects.\n * The position requires good written \u0026 verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed teams.\n * Team leadership experience, including planning and managing tasks is desirable\n * M.S./MTech, BS/BE (Electronics)\n * Experience Required : 10+ Years\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nASIC Engineer 5\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
