Job Summary

We are looking for a Principal – Investment Banking Advisory Services to lead and grow the investment banking advisory practice. The role will involve deal origination, client relationship management and end-to-end transaction execution across M&A, fundraising, capital raising and strategic advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and develop new investment banking mandates.
  
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, promoters, CXOs, PE/VC funds, family offices, HNIs and institutional investors.
  
• Lead M&A, capital raising, PE/VC fundraising and strategic advisory transactions from sourcing to closure.
  
• Develop and manage the deal pipeline and convert opportunities into mandates.
  
• Conduct valuation, financial modelling, DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis.
  
• Prepare pitch decks, teasers, information memorandums and transaction materials.
  
• Lead client discussions, negotiations and transaction execution.
  
• Coordinate with legal, financial, tax and other external advisors.
  
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
  
• Contribute to revenue generation and overall growth of the advisory practice.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12–20+ years of experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance or Transaction Advisory.
  
• Strong experience in deal origination and transaction execution.
  
• Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing mandates.
  
• Strong network across PE/VC funds, family offices, HNIs, institutional investors and corporate promoters.
  
• Excellent understanding of valuation, financial modelling and transaction structuring.
  
• Strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
  
• Experience managing and mentoring teams.
  
• Candidates from established Investment Banks, Boutique IB firms, PE/VC firms or Big 4 transaction advisory practices preferred.
