The Impact of Principal Product Manager to Coupa

What you’ll do:
- Represent your product area internally and externally
- Operate with a general manager mindset, and manage the entire life cycle from strategic planning, road mapping, feature design, development support, go-to-market, and field support for the epics and features you own
- Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with other product areas and wider organization
- Define detailed feature requirements in partnership with Engineering, UX, Services as well as customers
- Work closely with Engineering through design, build, test of requirements (stories), and documentation
- Measure success of your product and drive feature adoption through cross-functional & customer enablement
- Give polished presentations to stakeholders and customers
- Continually assess our products’ competitive market position
What you bring to Coupa:
- You have 8+ years of experience, at least 6 in Product Management in enterprise SaaS.
- You have past industry experience working with procurement functionality and/or master data
- You are a highly organized thinker, an excellent and precise communicator, with strong sense of ownership and drive.
- You excel at cutting through mud, driving alignment quickly, and translating ambiguous problem statements into concrete designs and deliverables.
- Dev, QE and UX trust you and brainstorm with you. Stakeholders don’t get blind-sighted by you
- Preferred Skill:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a technical degree is preferred. MBA a strong plus.
- Strong fundamentals with application development, Agile software development, Jira, Confluence and mastery of writing analytics SQL queries.
