Principal Technical Architect

Meet Our Team:

As a member of the Pega Consulting India team, you will work closely with our project teams and clients to provide that the technical architecture oversight of the delivered solution matches the client’s requirements. They collaborate directly with our clients and Pega development as well as Experience Design teams to provide technical design solutions.

You will provide thought leadership and Pega-specific application design guidance on multiple clients facing implementation projects.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Ensure client success by leveraging your technical skills to meet the challenges required to deliver the next generation customer centric solutions


• Provide thought leadership to team members, partners and clients to deliver scalable and resilient solutions for the next generation customer centric solutions


• Mentor team members on emerging technologies employed by Pega Infinity


• Provide support and technical governance focused on one or more projects at a single client or multiple clients


• Act as a Subject Matter Expert and pro-actively respond to ad-hoc questions


• Work alongside our world leading clients and partners to deliver high quality technical solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle

Who You Are:

• 6-9 years of experience and with Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or related experience/field)


• Desired experience in deploying, and running cloud native workloads using Kubernetes, microservices, and other cloud native technologies; certifications in Kubernetes (CKAD, CKA, CKS, AWS, Azure or GCP)


• Minimum of 3 years of work experience driving technical and non-functional requirements critical to achieving the client success. This includes (but is not limited to), Architecture, Containerization, and cloud technologies.


• Good understanding of applications in clustered deployments and distributed systems


• Experience deploying software in containers like Docker


• Knowledge of databases including Tomcat,  PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL (Cassandra)


• Proven ability to match technology solutions to customer needs

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

What You've Accomplished:

• TOGAF, Cloud Architect, or similar certification


•  You are certified in one (or more) of the following Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP or Pivotal, others)


• You possess a thorough knowledge of technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Infrastructure, Application Servers, Relational, non-Relational and NoSQL Databases, Java / J2EE, ElasticSearch, Kafka, HazelCast


• You provide thought leadership to team members, partners and clients across business and technical dimensions


• You have acted as a coach and mentor to team members
