Job Description - Private Wealth- Relationship Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1200000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 12-25 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Mumbai

JobType: full-time

This role focuses on driving the distribution and growth of Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) through private wealth and banking channels. You will play a critical role in building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across private banks, wealth platforms, and family offices, while positioning investment products effectively to achieve sustained inflows and long-term partnerships. The role requires a strong understanding of private wealth dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across private banks, wealth management firms, family offices, and advisory platforms.
  • Drive AIF and PMS sales by engaging closely with Private Bankers, Wealth Relationship Managers, and Investment Advisors.
  • Collaborate with product teams of wealth platforms to ensure product visibility, inclusion in recommended portfolios, and participation in internal forums.
  • Conduct regular training programs, product workshops, and portfolio discussions to strengthen advisor understanding and conviction.
  • Work closely with internal product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding, reporting, and client servicing.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets through a balanced focus on new business development and deepening existing relationships.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and client requirements to refine sales pitches and product positioning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards, including SEBI guidelines and risk protocols.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven experience working with private wealth, banking channels, or institutional distribution for investment products.
  • Strong understanding of AIF and PMS structures, regulations, and distribution models.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders such as investment counsellors, product gatekeepers, and advisory heads.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B relationship management and consultative sales environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience conducting training and product sessions.
  • Strong market awareness and the ability to translate investment themes into compelling value propositions.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and compliance orientation.
  • Self-driven, target-focused, and capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships independently.
