Process & Equipment Engineering Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Management and Team Development

• Identify headcount needs, recruit, interview, and make hiring decisions
• Mentor employees and support their career growth, recognizing their strengths and building personalized development strategies for each team member.
• Establish goals, conduct performance appraisals, provide recognition, and drive accountability
• Develop and provide technical training to the team and groom each member to realize their fullest potential
• Offer guidance, mentoring, and training for all process team members and ensure they work safely.

Process and Equipment Management

• Lead and manage the activities and operation of the Equipment/Process Engineering section
• Work together with other functional groups locally and globally to accomplish organizational and business objectives
• Ensure production equipment is in control and quality/reliability of the product meets expectations
• Sustain and improve key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities/projects
• Reduce costs through continuous cost reduction efforts
• Ensure effective and efficient risk management strategies
• Define, develop, and maintain equipment capabilities, strategy, and roadmap
• Develop new capabilities ahead of needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of working experience in semiconductor industry.
• Process and Equipment knowledge in Wire Bonding/ Die Attach and Encapsulation will be added advantages.
• Strong technical background in process and equipment engineering
• Demonstrated ability to successfully implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Ability to strictly determine and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
