Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Programming & Software Development

• 
  

  Design, develop, and modify PLC programs using Ladder Logic (LD), Functional Block Diagram (FBD), and CFC across major hardware platforms (Siemens, Schneider, Delta, GE Fanuc, Inovance, etc.).

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and configure SCADA and HMI systems (WinCC, Aveva Plant SCADA, Delta DOPSoft, PCVue, Phoenix) for real-time monitoring and control.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform communication configuration (Profibus, GET/PUT, Modbus) for seamless system integration.

  
  

2. Testing, Commissioning & Site Operations

• 
  

  Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and internal testing on electrical panels including MCC, PCC, VCB, ACB, Drive panels, and PLC/RIO/DCU panels.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform I/O testing, device testing (field transmitters, automation devices), and electrical wiring coordination with OEM teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage site installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation and remote control (ARC) systems, RTU panels in grid substations, and pump automation systems.

  
  

3. Project Management & Client Handling

• 
  

  Coordinate with cross-functional and client teams to manage project timelines, resource allocation, and timely delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare detailed customer service reports and address on-site technical bottlenecks.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all systems comply with strict operational integrity and quality standards before client handover.

  
  

Required Qualifications & Technical Stack

Education

• 
  

  Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

  
  


• 
  

  Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

  
  

Technical Skill Set

• 
  

  PLCs: Siemens (S7-200, S7-1200, S7-300, S7-400 Hot/Cold Standby, TIA Portal, Step 7, MicroWin Smart), Schneider (M580, Control Expert), Delta, Inovance, GE Fanuc.

  
  


• 
  

  SCADA / HMI: WinCC (v7.4, v7.5, v8.0), Aveva Plant SCADA, PCVue, Phoenix SCADA, Delta DOPSoft.

  
  


• 
  

  Protocols & Tools: Profibus, Modbus, GET/PUT, Modscan, Flexi Soft, Auto Shop, InoPro Shop.

  
  


• 
  

  Domain Knowledge: Water Distribution (24x7 systems), Ash Handling Systems, Geho Pump Upgradation, Smart Grid Automation (RTU/DCU in 132 KV Substations), and Steel Plant Automation (Stove, Furnace, SGP, Reclaimer, Combi Mill).
