To further strengthen our Direct Procurement Department, we are searching for a Global Jr Buyer.

Purpose of the role:

As an important member of the Global Procurement organization, you are part of a team responsible for the Procurement deliverables in the New Product Development process in collaboration with the cross-functional team.

Your role is to set-up master data, support sourcing investigations, and analyze options that will lead to right sourcing decisions made for the product launches.

The Global Junior Project Buyer is important contributor within the category, supporting delivery of the best product solutions and cost for new products.

With basic negotiations and supplier management skills, this position will support the function to ensure delivering new products on time and at the best possible price, quality and within targets set by business.

In close collaboration with the rest of the NPD team, you gather input from suppliers, analyze technical, supply and cost data to provide a sourcing recommendation.

You support preparations for supplier negotiations, conduct benchmarking activities, and master data in accordance with Oriflame’s processes.

To be successful in the role, you will have an eye for the details; thorough, fact based and solution-oriented approach as well as analytical mindset.

You should have commercial sense, ability to learn new technical concepts & software languages and to handle and analyze complex data.

The work environment is fast moving and entrepreneurial. Plans are frequently adjusted, and you need to be flexible and able to adapt. With your positive mind-set, you always see the bright aspects of a situation and bounce back quickly from eventual setbacks.

What will you do?

· New Product Development: Support procurement activities such as estimations, RFIs, tendering within Oriflame’s Global NPD process, leading to right sourcing solution and cost for new products through close cross-functional collaboration.

Drive Procurement activities in less complex / Lean Global NPD projects, securing right sourcing solution and cost for the new products through close cross-functional collaboration. Ensure procurement deliverables in NPD are met, ensuring product cost is optimized, cost estimations and final product costing.

· Cost: Supporting RFQ & Awarding process for new products cross-category.

Supplier Relationship Management: Support supplier management to improve assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, innovation and sustainability & healthy supplier relationship. Support the Global Category Manager with supplier performance feedback for supplier business reviews.

· Processes and Efficiency : Contribute to and drive improvements and efficiencies within the reporting process.

Managing the timelines for procurement function, follow-up, track cost improvement projects, floating inquiries, competitive benchmarking

· Master Data: Manage reports, support on master data activities and tracking across all categories NPD procurement team.

Your background and your qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

1-3 years of professional experience

Skills

· Communication skills - Ability to convey information to others in an effective manner; positive, clear and to the point. Ability to gain useful information and know-how from different sources.

· Analytical skills - ability to analyze, interpret and use facts and figures in an effective manner, detail oriented and logical

· Experience in global position(s ) or cooperation with global functions would be an advantage

· Excellent team player, dynamic and self-motivated

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint skills. Ability to learn new technical concepts and software languages

· Excellent English communication skills
