Job Description: Procurement Executive
Overview
The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle for a technology solutions provider specializing in the defense and specialized equipment sector. This entry-level role focuses on efficient vendor management, price negotiation, securing timely delivery of critical materials, and ensuring meticulous compliance and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, including the creation of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders (POs).
Handle vendor coordination, conduct price negotiation, and secure timely delivery of critical materials.
Ensure all procurement procedures are executed with precision and comply with internal and government-related guidelines.
Assist in inventory control and reconciliation processes.
Maintain detailed tracking and documentation of all purchasing records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
Qualifications
â Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
â Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Vendor Management, Materials Planning, or related functions.
â Mid-Senior level candidates are preferred.
â Freshers will generally not be considered; however, exceptional candidates with Aerospace/Aviation industry exposure, relevant internships, apprenticeships, or procurement-related project experience may be evaluated.
â Prior experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Defence, Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, or Engineering industries will be highly preferred.
â Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, purchase order management, inventory control, sourcing, and supply chain operations is preferred.
â Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is sufficient.
â Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
â Proficiency in both English and Hindi is mandatory.
â Additional language skills such as Marathi will be considered a strong advantage.
â Strong negotiation, coordination, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
