Procurement Lead

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead for our purchasing and supply planning function, with ownership across procurement operations, demand planning/MRP, inventory management, freight coordination, and supplier commercial negotiations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, improving buying efficiency, and strengthening procurement processes across the business.

The ideal candidate will be a strong procurement leader with hands-on experience in planning-driven purchasing environments. They should be capable of building structure, improving execution discipline, and driving cost-effective, reliable supply. Exposure to EDI/API-based supplier or procurement integrations will be a strong advantage.

This role is intended to centralize procurement execution and planning responsibility, enabling Product Managers to focus on supplier relationship management, product strategy, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchasing and procurement operations
  




• Manage demand planning and MRP to align buying with business needs
  




• Oversee inventory planning, stock optimization, and replenishment effectiveness
  




• Coordinate freight and inbound supply execution to support timely product availability
  




• Lead supplier price negotiations and commercial term discussions
  




• Improve procurement systems, controls, reporting, and process efficiency
  




• Support digital integration initiatives including EDI/API connectivity where relevant
  




• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, finance, logistics, and operations teams
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience on account management
  




• Strong experience in procurement, purchasing, and supply planning leadership
  




• Proven expertise in demand planning/MRP and inventory management
  




• Strong commercial negotiation skills with suppliers
  




• Good understanding of freight, replenishment, and supply coordination
  




• Exposure to ERP/procurement systems and data-driven planning
  




• EDI/API knowledge preferred
  




• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  




• Relevant industry experience in procurement or supply-driven environments preferred
