Job Title: MEP Procurement Manager

Job Summary
The MEP Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, and managing the procurement of
materials, equipment, and services required for MEP construction projects.
The role ensures timely
delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with technical specifications and project requirements,
while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
ï· Develop and implement procurement strategies specifically for MEP projects (HVAC, electrical,
plumbing, fire protection, and related systems).
ï· Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for MEP systems, including HVAC,
electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
ï· Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment,
and services.
ï· Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements, ensuring alignment with project budgets
and timelines.
ï· Coordinate with MEP engineers, project managers, and site teams to forecast material
requirements and delivery schedules.
ï· Monitor supplier performance, ensuring quality, compliance with technical standards, and
timely delivery.
ï· Track procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising
quality.
ï· Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audits and
management review.
ï· Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations.
ï· Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering strong teamwork and efficiency.
ï· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or
related field.
ï· Proven 5+ years of experience as a Procurement Manager in MEP, construction, or engineering
projects.
ï· Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and industry standards.
ï· Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
ï· Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem -solving skills.
ï· Strong communication and leadership abilities.
ï· Experience managing procurement for large -scale construction or infrastructure projects.
ï· Understanding of project management processes and cost control practices.
