App Mod Services is growing and has an opening for a Business Analyst. \n \n---|--- \n \nFunction\n\n| \n\nServices IT \n \nJob Family\n\n| \n \nJob Title\n\n| \n\nPROD MGMT ENGINEERING LEAD ADVISOR \u2013 Grade 12 \n \nRole Overview\n\n| \n\nSolutions and executes migration of Mainframe applications into software equivalent systems (rehosting).\n\nUses knowledge of Mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Assembler, DB2, IMS, files, etc to find the right solution to migrate off the Mainframe. \n\nUses knowledge of Unikix or Microfocus software to solution Mainframe rehosting.\n\nUses knowledge of Cloud technologies to rehost Mainframe systems to the Cloud.\n\nUses knowledge of CLIST, REXX, PL/1, Easytrieve and Assembler to find right migration solution.\n\nUses Linux scripting to implement migration glues.\n\nProposes and implements DevOps solutions on the rehosted system. \n \nRole Responsibilities\n\n| \n\n * Expert experience and ability to understand of legacy and current technologies; expert ability to identify code patterns and understand coding strategies; ability to propose, design and implement migration solutions; Expert knowledge of NTTDS tools and methodology; ability to coach and mentor the transformation of applications, using modern technologies, frameworks, and test strategies.\n * Demonstrated ability to lead projects or offer programming solutions at an advanced level.\n * Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs.\n * Ability to architect and design modernized systems with new technologies\n * Ability to identify changes required in the NTTDS tools and methodology to meet a particular solution or customer need.\n\n \n \n| \n \nCareer Level\n\n| \n\nPROD MGMT ENGINEERING LEAD ADVISOR \u2013 Grade 12 \n \n---|--- \n \nJob Code\n\n| \n \nRequirements\n\n| \n\n * Proven experience with the following practices:\n * Works well with clients, their stakeholders and end users\n * Experience in requirements solicitation\n * Able to differentiate between needs \u0026 wants\n * Experience in translating business requirements into technical requirements\n * Ability to work well within the team\n * Familiar with programming languages, and able to read some legacy code at a high-level to understand code rules\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent\n * Technical experience\n\n \n \nPreferences\n\n| \n\n * Familiarity with the following experience in large software projects\n * Experience on Microfocus / Clerity(Unikix) environment in hosting large and complex Mainframe applications; \n * Experience in Scheduler and Security migration\n * Experience with Assembler, PL/1 or Mainframe Infrastructure. \n\n \n \nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
