Product Designer

This position is part of the Architecture Team at Axium Global’s Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai or Thane. The Product Designer will collaborate with architects, designers and engineers to develop architectural products, components and design solutions, taking concepts through 3D modelling, technical detailing and documentation while ensuring they are practical, aesthetically appropriate and aligned with project requirements.

Key Roles and
Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural products, components, fixtures and design solutions from concept to final design.
  
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers and project teams to develop practical and innovative design solutions
  
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, layouts and design documentation.
  
• Develop construction details, material specifications and technical drawings for manufacturing/fabrication and project execution.
  
• Research materials, finishes, construction methods and emerging product design trends.
  
• Review designs for functionality, constructability, aesthetics and compliance with project requirements.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues
  
• Prepare design presentations, concepts, prototypes and visualisations where required.
  
• Incorporate feedback from architects, clients and project stakeholders into design development.
  
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and attention to detail across all design and technical documentation.
  
• Stay updated with new materials, technologies, design tools and industry trends relevant to architectural product design
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or a related field
  
• Proven experience in
  product design, preferably within the AEC industry
  
• Strong portfolio
  demonstrating design skills and project experience
  
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit or other relevant 3D modelling and design tools
  
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, dimensions and construction methods.
  
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
