We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Senior Product Engineer with deep expertise in US Healthcare, particularly in payer systems and technologies. This role is ideal for a technology leader with over two decades of experience in engineering and product development, someone who can seamlessly blend strategic thinking with deep domain expertise to build scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that meet the evolving demands of the healthcare payer landscape.

As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product roadmap, driving end-to-end development, and ensuring alignment with payer regulations, interoperability standards, and enterprise technology goals. Your ability to guide complex programs, lead high-performing teams, and translate healthcare policy and payer operations into scalable solutions will be critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of payer-centric healthcare technology solutions, including claims processing, eligibility, enrollment, billing, and provider data management systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, compliance, and operations to align technical solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, HIPAA, NCQA).
• Define product engineering strategies that promote interoperability (HL7, FHIR, X12), data integrity, and system resilience.
• Champion adoption of modern technology stacks including cloud-native architectures, microservices, and secure data pipelines to support payer operations.
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, security, and compliance with US Healthcare regulations.
• Mentor and lead teams of engineers and architects; establish best practices in agile product development, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interface with senior stakeholders and industry bodies to stay ahead of policy changes, payer requirements, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure timely delivery of technology initiatives with measurable impact on quality, cost reduction, and member/provider experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 23–30 years of experience in technology engineering with at least 15 years focused on US Healthcare and payer-side systems.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling core payer platforms (claims adjudication, provider network, member engagement tools, etc.).
• Strong understanding of payer reimbursement models (FFS, value-based care, risk adjustment, capitation, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of healthcare data standards (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7, X12 EDI) and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise architecture, data security, and system integration.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence product direction at the executive level.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a strategic mindset and a passion for transforming healthcare through technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• Experience working with large payers, government health programs (e.g., Medicare Advantage, Medicaid), or healthcare SaaS providers.
• Prior involvement in digital health transformation, AI/ML initiatives in payer space, or population health management platforms.
