About the team: - Payments Platform

This position is within the Settlement pod, which is part of the Payments product team. The

Payments Platform team at Paytm is responsible for developing payment architecture, user

interfaces, Merchant Settlements, merchant applications, that facilitate both accepting and

providing payments. Team builds a wide range of products that can cater to our large merchant

base. Making timely, seamless and accurate settlements to our Merchant partners is our motto,

while maintaining better than industry standard success rates. This role is part of the Settlement POD within the Payments Product team at Paytm. Team is focused

on building robust payment architecture, user interfaces, and merchant applications for seamless, reliable transactions and settlement. Our goal is to settle the funds in a timely and accurate manner to our merchant partners, with a commitment to industry-leading success rates and a wide range of products tailored to our massive merchant base.

About the Role:

Are you someone who loves to build products and gets curious about the technology stack being used? Have you worked in technical roles at some point in your career and enjoyed them (be it software developer, engineering manager, or architect)? We are looking for Product Managers to enable the delivery of high-quality Payments & Settlement products in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment. You will work across business, engineering, design and operation stakeholders to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the product area to build high-quality products. In this role, you will work collaboratively across various functions with organizations such as Banks and NPCI to guide Settlement products from their inception to launch, effectively connecting the technical and business aspects. You will excel at breaking down complex problems into manageable steps that drive product development.

Expectations/ Requirements:

● Define the Settlement and Nodal transfer product roadmap, including securing approval from

senior leadership with a clear objective/goal and prioritizing the same with the Tech teams.

● Collaborate closely with business leads to understand product use cases, money movements, and the business relevance and impact of each use case.

● Drive the execution of the product roadmap by making trade-offs, coordinating dependencies, and maintaining communication across the organization to ensure smooth product delivery.

● Post-launch monitoring with the data team

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role

● Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and/or related field from reputed colleges, along with an MBA from a premier institution.

● 2-4 years of Professional experience in a product management role, preferred in the Payments, Settlement and Banking industry and has to be familiar with NPCI and RBI guidelines

● Good understanding of accounting and money transfer modes (NEFT/RTGP/IMPS/UPI) is a plus

● Solutions orientated within a high-energy and fast-paced work environment

● Exceptional willingness to experiment and improve continuously

● Possess excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

● Ability to take internal (Business, Engineering, Growth, Design etc.) and external stakeholders along
