About the team & Role : ​​

This position is within the UPI team, which is part of the Payments product team. The Payments team at Paytm is responsible for developing payment architecture, user interfaces, merchant applications, that facilitate both accepting and providing payments. Whether it’s making online payments with UPI Intent or collect, utilizing scan-and-pay at offline stores, or using the Paytm app, the UPI Payments team is dedicated to making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In this role, you will work collaboratively across various functions and with organizations such as NPCI and banks to guide UPI products from their inception to launch, effectively connecting the technical and business aspects. You will excel at breaking down complex problems into manageable steps that drive product development.

• Define the UPI product roadmap, including securing approval from senior leadership with a clear objective/goal.
• Collaborate closely with business leads to understand product use cases, customer journeys, and the business relevance and impact of each use case. 
• Drive the execution of the product roadmap by making trade-offs, coordinating dependencies, and maintaining communication across the organization to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Post launch monitoring with data team

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with an MBA from a premier institution.
• In-depth knowledge of the UPI ecosystem and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., NPCI guidelines)A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a product management role is required, including at least 2 years specifically focused on UPI products.
• Should have worked with cross functional teams (Engineering, Growth, Design etc.)
• Exceptional Willingness to experiment and improve continuouslyPossess excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
