Job Description - Product Manager

Principal Accountabilities:

Strategy, Ideation and Roadmap:

Analyze market trends.

Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.

Anticipate market & customers needs and create requirement-driven solutions.

Maintain and prioritize the product roadmap.

Plan product design and features.

Benchmark and differentiate versus competitors.

Articulate market requirements.

Product Definition:

Author product requirements.

Work with business analysts to understand customer requirements.

Globalize features to fit across markets/deployments.

Product Marketing

Create product collaterals.

Participate in industry forums and events, event sponsorships.

Author white papers and case studies.

Define pricing approach for market segments.

Collaboration

Collaborate closely with architects and engineers in an agile development environment. Work with Business Development (BD) on RFPs if required, assist in training BD and sales, ensure demo infrastructure.

Support Delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and in reviewing Change Requests received from market.

Partner engagement: Assess partnerships and licensing opportunities with external 3rd parties

Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong strategic acumen coupled with execution capability.

Excellent communication skills, matured in conduct and command.

Ability to understand business and numbers-driven.

Fintech domain (~4 yrs), Wallet/pre-paid mobile money (2+ years)
