This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Data Security based in India.
This role sits at the core of modern cybersecurity innovation, focused on building next-generation data security products that protect how organizations manage, move, and govern sensitive information. You will own impactful product areas within enterprise-grade security platforms spanning data loss prevention, data security posture management, and AI-driven governance capabilities. The position requires a strong product mindset with deep collaboration across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. You will translate complex customer security challenges into clear product direction and execution. The role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on product delivery, with ownership from ideation to launch. You will operate in a fast-moving, AI-enabled environment where innovation, precision, and execution quality are critical. Accountabilities:
- Own the product roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end execution for assigned data security product areas.
- Define requirements, write detailed product specifications, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive the full product lifecycle from discovery and design through development, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Develop deep customer understanding through research, field engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and differentiation.
- Partner with GTM teams to support positioning, launches, and enablement activities.
- Define success metrics, analyze product performance, and guide data-informed decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and execution.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of product management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity domains.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on complex systems.
- Proven experience writing product specifications, defining requirements, and shipping enterprise products.
- Exposure to cybersecurity or data security domains such as DLP, CASB, DSPM, insider threat, or compliance is highly desirable.
- Experience working on AI/ML-enabled or data-driven products is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to make structured, evidence-based product decisions.
- Strong ownership mentality with a bias for action and execution excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional, global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field is required.
