Product Owner

Role purpose

In this pivotal role, you’ll bridge strategy and execution — transforming customer needs and enterprise goals into clear, actionable outcomes. You’ll drive focus and momentum across every product milestone, ensuring each release delivers measurable value. You’ll own backlog clarity, champion effective communication, and lead value-driven delivery — fostering alignment and collaboration across Product, Client Solutions, and Engineering teams.

Key accountabilities 

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to shape and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with client needs and strategic goals. 

• Translate product vision into measurable goals and KPIs, ensuring focused outcomes. 

• Manage and refine the product backlog, maintaining clarity, focus and alignment across business and technical stakeholders. 

• Define user stories and acceptance criteria with cross-functional input. 

• Prioritize features and initiatives that maximize client impact while balancing feasibility, innovation, and strategic direction. 

• Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating open communication and timely decision-making. 

• Champion the customer voice ensuring every feature contributes to meaningful, measurable results for users. 

• Support Agile delivery, providing real-time feedback, clarifying priorities and ensuring continuous progress through sprints. 

• Coordinate release readiness and collaborate with QA and delivery teams to ensure smooth product launches. 


• Track performance metrics, gather post-release feedback and drive data-informed iterations for continuous improvement. 
  
  

Skills and Experience 

• Demonstrated expertise in product ownership, with a focus on managing backlog, defining features and ensuring successful delivery 

• Excellent prioritization skills to ensure delivery of high-impact features. 

• Effective collaborator across engineering, sales, marketing and client-facing teams. 

• Excellent communicator, capable of simplifying complexity and building trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the full product development lifecycle. 

• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools. 

• Analytical mindset with an ability to connect client feedback, product metrics, and business goals. 

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, data platforms, or AI-driven analytics is highly desirable. 

• Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving competing priorities and delivery challenges. 

• Passionate about learning and innovation, with curiosity for emerging technologies.
