Production Head CNC Machining

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Head – CNC Machining to lead and manage end -to -end production operations in a CNC machining environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, optimizing machine utilization, and leading a team of supervisors and operators to achieve organizational goals.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

?️ Production Management

• Oversee daily CNC machining production activities on the shop floor
  
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet delivery timelines
  
• Ensure optimal utilization of CNC machines and manpower
  
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and quality teams
  

? Process & Productivity Improvement

• Analyze production data to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time
  
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement practices (Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
  
• Reduce rejection, rework, and machine downtime
  

? CNC Operations Oversight

• Supervise CNC turning, milling, and multi -axis machining operations
  
• Ensure proper setup, tooling selection, and programming coordination
  
• Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and technical issues
  

? Team Management

• Lead and mentor production supervisors, engineers, and operators
  
• Conduct shift planning and manpower allocation
  
• Ensure discipline, safety, and productivity on the shop floor
  

? Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all components meet drawing and quality specifications
  
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and approvals
  
• Maintain ISO / quality system compliance standards
  

? Delivery & Planning Coordination

• Work closely with planning and dispatch teams to meet customer deadlines
  
• Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and ensure smooth workflow
  

? Essential Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  
• 8–15 years of experience in CNC machining / precision manufacturing
  
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or production leadership role
