We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production In -charge to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical engineering knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage production activities efficiently while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Supervise and coordinate day -to -day production activities to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing targets.
  
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.
  
• Ensure production output meets quality, quantity, and delivery requirements.
  
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, quality, and stores departments for seamless production flow.
  

Quality Control & Process Management

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process.
  
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  
• Investigate production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Ensure process adherence and maintain production consistency.
  

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead, guide, and supervise production operators and shop -floor personnel.
  
• Allocate responsibilities and monitor employee performance.
  
• Conduct training sessions to improve workforce efficiency and safety awareness.
  
• Foster teamwork and maintain discipline within the production department.
  

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Reduce production downtime, wastage, and operational costs.
  
• Improve productivity through process optimization and efficient resource utilization.
  

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures.
  
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
  
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  
• Coordinate corrective actions for identified safety concerns.
  

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  
• Maintain accurate production records and operational documentation.
  
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  
• Report operational issues and improvement recommendations to management.
  

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  
• Additional certifications in Production Management, Manufacturing Processes, or Quality Management will be an added advantage.
