Production Manager Metal Manufacturing

A leading
international industrial company specializing in industrial air systems,
ventilation solutions, and heavy-duty fans is seeking an experienced Production
Manager to lead and manage its metal manufacturing operations in India.

The role includes full responsibility for all production activities, from raw
material receiving and sheet metal processing to welding, assembly, painting,
and final integration of industrial ventilation systems, blowers, and
electromechanical equipment.

This position combines operational, technical, and managerial leadership within
a complex industrial manufacturing environment, while maintaining international
standards of quality, safety, productivity, and execution.

The Production Manager will serve as a key interface between Engineering,
Planning, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, and Project Management teams.

Key Responsibilities: 

•         Full responsibility for all
manufacturing activities within the metal production facility

•         Manage diverse production operations
including raw material receiving, sheet metal cutting and processing, punch,
press brake and bending operations, welding and metal fabrication, painting,
industrial fan manufacturing, mechanical assembly, and final assembly

•         Plan and execute production schedules
according to project timelines and delivery requirements

•         Manage multiple production projects
simultaneously

•         Optimize workflow, manpower, machine
utilization, and production capacity

•         Handle production bottlenecks and
operational challenges

•         Ensure achievement of production,
quality, safety, and cost targets

•         Establish, stabilize, and improve
manufacturing processes and workflows

•         Implement operational procedures,
production controls, and performance KPIs

•         Direct management of department
managers and production supervisors

•         Coordinate daily with Engineering,
Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Project Management teams

•         Provide regular operational reports
regarding performance, risks, and progress

Requirements

•         Proven experience in Metal industrial
production management – mandatory

•         Significant experience managing a
metal manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication facility – mandatory

•         Hands-on experience with sheet metal
machinery such as Laser Cutting, Punch, and Press Brake machines

•         Strong knowledge of welding, metal
fabrication, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly

•         Experience managing complex,
multi-disciplinary production floors

•         Experience leading managers, supervisors,
and production teams

•         Ability to read and understand
technical drawings – mandatory

•         Background in integrated industrial
systems involving metal, pneumatics, electrical systems, and controls – strong
advantage

•         Experience establishing or upgrading manufacturing
operations – advantage

•         Good computer and production
management system skills

•         High-level English communication
skills – mandatory
