Key Areas of responsibility
Production planning and execution based on sales forecast with focus on customer delivery, including production capacity planning.
Effectively manage the production meeting so that production line stoppage can be proactively prevented (e.g material shortage, manpower shortage or tooling unavailability).
Responsible to monitor and achieve KPI targets like first pass yield, on time delivery, non conformance cost, inventory turn ratio. Analyze and initiate action in case of deviation
Continuous improvement and Lean management in manufacturing (e.g Value stream mapping) and implementation of kaizen and 5S
Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with relevant regulations and standards including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
Ensure a safe and healthy work place and safe environment
Use problem solving techniques to identify root cause and resolve technical issues
MIS preparation and presentation to management including global stakeholders. Identify and highlight risk in early stage
Job knowledge, skills and experience
Diploma or Bachelor of Electronics/Mechanical engineering with more than 10 years experience in manufacturing. Experience in Medical Device manufacturing (e.g X-ray, CT, MRI systems) will be preferred
Expertise in data analytics and dashboards interpretation, deriving action plans wherever necessary
Experience and know how of end to end supply chain
Expertise in SAP or similar ERP systems. Experience in following SAP/ERP modules. production, material management, customer order management, inventory management, documentation management.
Team player and stakeholder management with good communication and interpersonal skills.
