Role Overview

We are looking for a SQL/PLSQL Developer with Production Support experience who can work on business-critical applications in a high-impact BFSI environment. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SQL/PLSQL development along with the ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze data, and support live systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for critical applications


• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code


• Monitor daily batch jobs and production processes; resolve failures within SLA timelines


• Perform data analysis and debugging to identify root causes of production issues


• Work closely with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and permanent resolutions


• Analyze application logs, database issues, and performance bottlenecks


• Support deployments, releases, and environment monitoring


• Maintain support documentation and knowledge base


• Participate in on-call support and rotational shifts, if required

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in SQL/PLSQL development + Production Support


• Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL (mandatory)


• Hands-on experience in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and query optimization


• Experience with Informatica and data analysis


• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and basic shell scripting


• Experience with job schedulers like Control-M / Autosys (preferred)


• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)


• Ability to analyze logs, data issues, and production incidents

• Ability to work under high-pressure production environments

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong SQL/PLSQL developer currently working in a production support environment (L2/L3)


• Experience in BFSI / Fintech / Data-heavy applications is a plus


• Comfortable handling live production issues along with development tasks
