What this job involves


As a critical member of the HR team, you will support the execution of the People Strategy and delivery and promote best practice and operational excellence of HR across the business. You will be responsible for providing HR support and consultation to the business in support of key strategic HR initiatives, including supporting HR Business Partners and the Senior HR Advisors in the execution of the people strategy across the talent lifecycle. You will be an advocate for the wider function and leverage HRBPs, COEs and HR Business Services teams to meet strategic HR needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Head HR in the execution of the overall people strategy and key HR initiatives
  • Understand the business and leadership priorities, including the business strategy and key initiatives that drive the bottom line
  • Use internal networks and previous HR experience, to advocate best practices and support development and execution of strategy, policy and practice, and business initiatives
  • Partner with the HR team and the Business to support a wide range of projects across TA, L & D, Rewards and Business Planning

  • At least 8 – 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to a broad range of HR services.
  • Generalist experience, though specialist experience across a number of areas is acceptable.
  • Master’s degree with a major in HR.
  • Flexibility to travel across sites in North India (Delhi/NCR, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Punjab, etc).
  • Support the annual performance management processes by educating managers and employees, driving analysis of completion rates and encouraging thoughtful participation in the process.
  • Work with the Head HR supporting Managers to address employee performance issues by providing advice and counsel, data and analytics, best practices.
  • Assist in the production and delivery of analytics, trends, feedback and other data to Head HR to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the HR team / processes, or broader organizational performance
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries from management and employees by answering their questions directly or referring them to the appropriate subject-matter expert (e.g., HR Business Services).
  • Work with HR Business Services teams as needed to identify and resolve employee data issues. Actively leverage the HR technology in order to drive value and results
  • Advocate and support the use of the full suite of HR service offerings, HRBPs, HR Business Services teams and CoEs, acting as role model and facilitator to ensure business areas adhere to, and HR deliver to agreed service offerings.
  • Position yourself as a credible champion who embodies the JLL culture and values in all of your interactions. Integrate a mindset around diversity and inclusion constantly; be able and willing to coach others’ to understand ways to optimize the firm’s values
  • Balance business needs, company requirements, and protect the interests of the organization while advocating for employee interests, in service of creating a culture where employees and leaders reflect and live our JLL Values (Ethics, Teamwork and Excellence)
