This role sits within Amdocs Global Delivery Openet unit, whose purpose is to ensure Amdocs
customers’ current & future success by delivering and enabling innovative, customer-centric
software solutions. Solution Delivery and this role is key to our ability to deliver state of the art
solutions, which support our customer’s successful transition to the world of 5G connectivity.

What will your job look like?

As a Lead Engineer, you will be an expert in our product, responsible for managing its
deployment from start to finish. This role requires direct interaction with customers, guiding them
on how our product can be tailored to meet their unique business needs. You will leverage the
product’s capabilities to create optimally customized solution designs, including end code and
configurations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our solutions are aligned with customer needs
and contribute significantly to their success.

All you need is...

• - Analyze business requirements, perform impact assessments and effort estimations.
  - Collaborate with architects to perform scope breakdowns.
  - Support the design process via backlog management and guide towards definition of ready.

  - Design, develop, debug, and maintain software customizations. Ensure code is well-designed,
  maintainable, scalable, and supportable.
  - Lead defect handling in a solution and provide technical input to project status
  - Collaborate with teams, participate in code reviews, and resolve interfacing issues.
  - Lead discussions related to the product and build relationships with internal teams
  - Have a proven track record of delivering complex integration project to multiple customers.
  - Experience working with high performance real time multi-threaded microservices
  - Practical exposure to Java, DevOps pipelines and Kubernetes.
  - Working knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
  - Structured programming experience: course work plus commercial, with advanced
  experience in for example Java.
  - Possess a relevant degree in computer science or software engineering and demonstrate a
  curiosity to learn more.
  We would love it if you had:
  - Various year’s commercial experience within a telecommunication environment.
  - Working experience in the charging or policy telecom domain.
  - An ability to influence key stakeholders and get buy in on technical decisions
  - A positive, solution-focused attitude and you aren’t afraid of a challenge
  - Practical experience with genAI, code assistants to supporting your daily tasks
  - Exposure to Diameter
  - Understand architecture patterns in Geo-redundancy, Failover, Failure, Robustness handling
