Professor – Community Medicine (Preventive & Social Medicine)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Professor – Community Medicine to lead academic, research, and community‑oriented initiatives in the Department of Preventive & Social Medicine. The role involves undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, departmental leadership, research supervision, and active participation in institutional and public health programs, in compliance with NMC regulations.

This senior academic position offers an opportunity to influence medical education, strengthen community health initiatives, and contribute to national public health priorities.

• Lead and deliver teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate programs
  


• Provide academic leadership and departmental coordination
  


• Guide PG students in thesis work and research publications
  


• Participate in community health programs and national health initiatives
  


• Promote research, CMEs, workshops, and academic collaborations
  


• Ensure compliance with NMC, university, and institutional standards
  


• Support examinations, assessments, and academic administration
  

• Minimum 3 years as Associate Professor (as per NMC norms)
  


• Experience in teaching UG & PG students
  


• Proven record of academic leadership and mentoring
  

• Required number of publications as per NMC guidelines
  


• Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration
  

• Strong leadership and teaching skills
