Professor / Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor- Pharmaceutical Chemistry- Ahmedabad Campus

FOR THE POST OF PROFESSOR

1. The candidate should be a Ph.D degree in any of Pharmacy subjects (Ph.D. Qualification must be PCI recognized).


2. First Class B.Pharm with Masters degree in Pharmacy(M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy or Pharm D. (Qualification must be PCI recognized).


3. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.

AND

Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals 

AND 

Minimum Research Score of 120 

AND 

Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.

1. Minimum of 10- years of experience in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy college or research, industry and/or profession in which 5 years must be Associate Professor in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy college.

2. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.  Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

1. First Class B.Pharm with Masters degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy (Qualification must be PCI recognized).


2. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.

       AND

       Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals 

       AND 

       Minimum Research Score of 75

1. Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in teaching or research at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy college. 

        Desirable :

1. A Ph.D. Degree


2. Teaching, research industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization;


3. Published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals, such as research papers, patents filed /obtained  and/or technical reports; and


4. Experience of guiding the projects work, dissertation of postgraduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in the industry.

FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

 Essential :

1. A First Class B.Pharm. with Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy. (Qualification must be PCI recognized).


2. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.


3. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals 

Desirable :

         1.       Two years experience in teaching in PCI approved / recognized pharmacy college, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization

         2.       Papers presented at Conferences and / or in referred journals.
