Professor - Housekeeping

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands -on experience in Housekeeping operations within the hospitality industry and a passion for training and mentoring students. Candidates with prior teaching or training experience in hospitality institutes will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom lectures and practical training sessions for Housekeeping and related hospitality subjects.
  
• Train students on housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, room maintenance, guest service standards, and hotel protocols.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessment materials.
  
• Conduct practical demonstrations, workshops, and industry -oriented training sessions.
  
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical assessments, and examinations.
  
• Guide and mentor students for internships, placements, and career development.
  
• Participate in curriculum planning and academic activities.
• Maintain professional standards and discipline within classrooms and practical 
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years of hands -on experience in the Housekeeping Department of a reputed hotel, preferably a 4 -star or 5 -star property.
  
• Prior teaching, training, or student mentoring experience in a hospitality institute is preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, hotel standards, cleaning procedures, and guest service practices.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to train effectively and engage students through practical learning methods.
• Professional attitude with strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
