Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Electronics & Communication

Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) seeks to fill faculty positions at the ranks of Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor within the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, adhering to the eligibility criteria stipulated by AICTE. These positions are integral to advancing the academic mission of the institution through excellence in teaching, research, and service. The ideal candidate must have proven research credentials with publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus indexed Journals and passion for teaching using modern teaching pedagogies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Curriculum Development:
   

• Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  

• Design and revise course curricula in line with industry trends and academic standards.
  

• Mentor and supervise students in academic projects, internships, and research work.
  

2. Research and Scholarly Activity:
   

• Conduct innovative research contributing to advancements in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  

• Publish research findings in SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals and present at conferences.
  

• Guide students and supervise research projects effectively.
  

3. Academic Leadership and Administration:
   

• Lead and contribute to the enhancement of academic programs.
  

• Participate in academic committees and institutional governance.
  

• Mentor junior faculty to foster professional growth.
  

4. Community Engagement and Outreach:
   

• Promote Electronics & Communication Engineering education through community outreach.
  

• Collaborate with academic institutions, industries, and professional bodies.
  

• Participate in workshops and seminars to enhance the institution's visibility and influence.
  

Requirements

For Professor:

• Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution.
  

• A minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience in higher education including 03 years of experience as Associate Professor, with significant contributions to the field.
  

• Demonstrated leadership in academic and research activities, including a minimum of 10 research publications in SCI/ UGC/ AICTE approved journals. 
  

• Experience in guiding and mentoring students and junior faculty members.
  

• Proven ability to secure research grants and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.
  

For Associate Professor:

• Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution.
  

• A minimum of 08 years of teaching and research experience in higher education institutions including 02 years post PhD, with a focus on emerging trends in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  

• Evidence of scholarly achievements, including a minimum of 06 research publications in SCI/ UGC/ AICTE approved journals. 
  

• Experience in curriculum development and course delivery.
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  

 For Assistant Professor:

• Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution, or nearing completion, with a strong emphasis on research potential.
  

• A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, with a minimum of 01 year of teaching experience is preferred.
  

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to fostering academic excellence and student success.
