Job Description - ProfileNext Career Services - Social Media Marketers

Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketer to join our growing team at ProfileNext Career Services. As a fresher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital presence across key social media platforms, driving engagement, increasing brand visibility, and supporting our mission to empower students and professionals in their career journeys. This role is ideal for a passionate, tech -savvy individual eager to build a career in digital marketing within the education sector. You will collaborate with content creators, marketing strategists, and career advisors to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience—students, job seekers, and young professionals. Your work will directly contribute to growing our online community, enhancing student engagement, and positioning ProfileNext as a trusted career development partner in India’s competitive education landscape.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging, platform -specific content calendars for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Create high -quality visual and written content (posts, stories, reels, carousels, blogs) that align with brand voice and educational messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Hootsuite to optimize content strategy.
  • Engage with followers through timely responses, comments, and direct messages to foster community growth and trust.
  • Collaborate with the content and career advisory teams to promote career workshops, webinars, success stories, and placement updates.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Assist in managing paid social media campaigns (e.g., targeted ads on Instagram and LinkedIn) to drive lead generation and course sign -ups.
  • Report regularly on KPIs including reach, engagement rate, follower growth, click -through rates, and conversion metrics.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or a related field (freshers welcome).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their unique content formats and audience behaviors.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, or InShot.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate educational value into engaging, shareable content.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SEO basics and digital marketing fundamentals is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a mission -driven organization focused on student success.
