Role: Program Associate - Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Mumbai
Experience: 2-5 years

About the role:

Programme Associates will work closely with Leads and the Program Head to design and deliver key initiatives. While focused on specific functions (Operations, Reporting, or Partnerships), the Associate is expected to multi-task and provide support as per overall program priorities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: 

The Associate will primarily focus on one of the following streams, while supporting others as needed:

1. Operations Stream:

• Operational Support: Primarily responsible for all operational support required for the smooth functioning of the program.
• Project Management: Working knowledge of project management tools and frameworks (e.g., Gantt charts) for ensuring timely delivery.

2. Reporting Stream:

• Data Tracking: Primarily responsible for tracking and analyzing program data against set KPIs.
• Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytical tools (e.g., R, Stata, or SPSS) to generate high-quality data analysis, documentation, and presentations.

3. Partnerships Stream:

• Stakeholder Management: Primarily responsible for engaging and managing relationships with external partners (government, NGOs, community organizations).
• Visualization: Working knowledge of tools like Tableau for effective communication with partners.

General Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrate high levels of empathy and understanding of stakeholder challenges (teachers, caregivers, program staff). Work actively in a participatory manner.
• Documentation: Ensure excellent documentation, analysis, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrate creativity and respond flexibly to changing field situations by devising innovative ways of solving challenges.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications (Must Have): Post Graduate Degree in Education, Social Work, Social Science, Rural Management, or any relevant field.
• Educational Qualifications (Desired): Specific qualification in Education or Early Childhood Development (ECD).
• Experience (Must Have): 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Sector Experience: Experience of working with Government primary schools and/or Anganwadi centers is highly valued.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages (Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, Urdu) may be an advantage.
