Job Description - Program Lead - Private Banking

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 3000000 - Rs 3500000 (ie INR 30-35 LPA)

Min Experience: 8 years

Location: Mumbai

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a highly driven Program Lead – Private Banking to lead strategic initiatives focused on enhancing client engagement, driving product innovation, and executing high-impact customer campaigns. This role sits at the intersection of program management, product strategy, and client experience, requiring a strong understanding of private banking dynamics and affluent customer expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of execution rigor and strategic thinking, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional programs end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple strategic programs across private banking, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics while ensuring effective governance and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including relationship managers, product teams, compliance, and technology to drive seamless execution.
  • Identify risks and dependencies proactively, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success.

Customer Campaigns:

  • Design and execute targeted customer campaigns aimed at acquisition, engagement, and retention of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-HNW clients.
  • Leverage customer insights and data analytics to personalize campaign strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with marketing and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging and omnichannel delivery.
  • Track campaign performance, generate insights, and continuously optimize campaign effectiveness.

Product Management:

  • Support the lifecycle management of private banking products, including investments, wealth solutions, lending, and advisory offerings.
  • Partner with product specialists to refine offerings based on market trends, client feedback, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Drive product enhancements and ensure regulatory compliance across all offerings.
  • Act as a bridge between business, technology, and operations teams to ensure successful product rollouts.

Product Proposition & Strategy:

  • Develop compelling product propositions tailored to the needs of affluent and HNW clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the private banking portfolio.
  • Contribute to the design of differentiated value propositions that strengthen client loyalty and drive revenue growth.
  • Align product strategies with broader organizational goals and evolving client expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8–10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services, with a strong focus on program or product roles.
  • Proven track record in managing complex programs and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of HNW client behavior, wealth products, and banking regulations.
  • Experience in designing and executing customer campaigns with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
