Role Overview:
We are a high-growth ed-tech nonprofit dedicated to catalyzing early childhood education (ECCE) and community engagement in India. Working alongside central and state governments, we impact over 4.5 million children. Our team is composed of passionate individuals from prestigious institutions (IIT, IIM, HBS, MBB) united by the goal of transforming the national education system.
The Program Manager will lead the Project Management Unit (PMU) in Delhi, serving as a trusted advisor on ECCE and ensuring the seamless execution of program activities through strong government liaison and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Government Liaison & Stakeholder Management
Establish and maintain strong connections with state, district, and field-level officials.
Liaise with the Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) for necessary approvals, documentation, and regular updates.
Draft official letters, briefing notes, and departmental communications.
Act as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders regarding ECCE initiatives.
2. Program Execution & Coordination
Take end-to-end ownership of specific projects and workstreams.
Strengthen coordination across various levels of government to ensure smooth program rollout.
Support the design and delivery of training workshops for Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), Supervisors, CDPOs, and other officials.
Assist with general planning, administration, and team support tasks.
3. Data Management & Reporting
Track program data and document progress through detailed calendars and tracker sheets.
Analyze data to prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for high-level review meetings.
Provide regular, quality updates to senior officials and internal managers.
Required Experience & Skillset:
Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience within the development sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Canva.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills for reporting and inter-departmental coordination.
Leadership: Ability to take initiative in ambiguous situations and work independently within a government environment.
Mindset: Mission-driven, enthusiastic, and closely aligned with the goal of systemic educational transformation.
