## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton is seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to Lead the program management function within the Global Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (COE) at our Pune location. This role will directly lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers while driving enterprise-wide product cybersecurity initiatives and transformational process improvements. As a strategic partner to senior leadership, this individual will be accountable for portfolio-level program governance, resource optimization across multiple concurrent initiatives, and establishing best practices that scale across Eaton\u0027s Global R\u0026D Engineering organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence organizational strategy, drive innovation, and leave a lasting impact on Eaton\u0027s product security posture.\n\nLEADERSHIP \u0026 TEAM MANAGEMENT \nLead and develop a high\u2011performing, inclusive Program Management team by driving talent growth, performance excellence, leadership development, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n\nSTRATEGIC PROGRAM GOVERNANCE \n\u2022 Own the portfolio-level roadmap for cybersecurity program initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and business priorities. \n\u2022 Establish, standardize, and enforce program management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across the team. \n\u2022 Serve as the primary escalation point for critical program risks, issues, and high-impact decisions requiring executive attention. \n\u2022 Present program status, strategic recommendations, and resource requirements to senior leadership and stakeholders. \n\u2022 Drive strategic planning and contribute to long-term organizational vision for the Cybersecurity COE.\n\nOPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE \u0026 PERFORMANCE \n\u2022 Oversee and optimize resource allocation, workload balancing, and capacity planning across multiple concurrent programs and initiatives. \n\u2022 Champion operational efficiency through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies. \n\u2022 Own key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, providing visibility into program health, team performance, and delivery metrics. \n\u2022 Identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and drive root cause analysis for process improvements. \n\u2022 Support the PCCOE budgeting actvities.\n\nTECHNICAL \u0026 COMPLIANCE LEADERSHIP \n\u2022 Ensure all programs maintain compliance with Eaton Cybersecurity Standards, drive Industry certifications of select programs (e.g., IEC 62443, UL 2900) and support evolving compliance to regulatory requirements. \n\u2022 Partner with technical teams to align workflow tools, technologies, and platforms with product cybersecurity goals. \n\u2022 Champion adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML to enhance program delivery, operational efficiency, and decision-making. \n\u2022 Well versed with the modern SW project execution methodologies eg. Scaled Agile Frameworks(SAFE), Agile, DevSecOps, Ci/CD, Secure SDLC etc. \n\u2022 Solid Experience setting up workflows and reporting mechanisms using JIRA, ServiceNow, JAMA, Doors, Swarmiya, etc. \n\nCROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION \u0026 STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT \n\u2022 Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with division leaders, engineering teams, and global stakeholders. \n\u2022 Drive alignment, communication, and collaboration across geographically distributed and cross-functional teams. \n\u2022 Represent the Cybersecurity COE in executive forums, steering committees, and strategic planning discussions.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution (Required). \n\u2022 Master\u0027s degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related technical field (Strongly Preferred).\n\n\u2022 Minimum 12-15 years of progressive work experience in program/project management or related fields. \n\u2022 At least 7 years in leadership roles managing major programs, projects, or cross-functional initiatives. \n\u2022 Minimum 3 years of direct experience managing and developing Program Managers or Project Managers. \n\u2022 Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale, complex programs on time and within budget.\n\n\u2022 Deep experience in cybersecurity, new product development (NPD), or SW Engineering operations. \n\u2022 Solid understanding of software and firmware development lifecycles and operations. \n\u2022 Experience with portfolio management and enterprise program governance frameworks. \n\u2022 Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and certifications (IEC 62443, UL 2900, ISO 27001). \n\u2022 Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid program management methodologies.\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. \n\u2022 Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams. \n\u2022 Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. \n\u2022 Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. \n\u2022 Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive outcomes without direct authority. \n\u2022 Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and governance standards. \n\u2022 Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities. \n\u2022 Change management expertise with ability to drive organizational transformation. \n\u2022 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. \n\u2022 Innovative mindset with awareness of AI/ML trends and their application to business challenges.\n\n\u2022 Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification highly preferred. \n\u2022 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; additional certifications (CSM, CSPO, SAFe) are a plus. \n\u2022 Experience with Product Cybersecurity operations (e.g., Threat Modeling, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture). \n\u2022 Proficiency with program/project management tools such as Jira, Kanbanize, Microsoft Project, ServiiceNow. \n\u2022 Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with geographically distributed teams, Culturally savy in working globally. \n\u2022 Background in regulated industries or compliance-driven environments.\n
