Job Description - Program Support Executive - Events

At Team Everest, we believe in the power of connecting people and opportunities. Our programs change lives, but for them to be truly successful, we need someone to bring in the right people beneficiaries, volunteers, partners, and more.

As the Program Support Executive - Events, you will be the bridge between our programs and the communities we aim to serve. You will drive outreach activities to bring the right participants into our programs, ensuring they are supported and engaged.

Your role will focus on building relationships with external stakeholders, managing outreach for sourcing participants, and hosting impactful events to engage and inspire those involved. You will be the key person in ensuring our programs have the right people and are effectively executed.

What You Will Do?

Outreach

  1. Source Participants and Partners: Engage with colleges, schools, NGOs, Govt. departments and other relevant institutions to identify and source beneficiaries and volunteers for our programs.
  2. Build Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., colleges, corporate partners) to support program objectives.
  3. Conduct Outreach Activities: Execute outreach activities like pitching to college, orientation and more to bring in participants, helping to meet the needs of our programs.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and effective collaboration.
  5. Travel for Outreach: Travel to different cities or regions as needed to engage in outreach activities, including meeting partners and stakeholders.

Event Hosting

  1. Event Facilitation: Host orientations and facilitate events in partner institutions, ensuring the program's goals are communicated and understood.
  2. Coordinate Volunteering or other Events: Oversee and facilitate volunteering or other events, ensuring smooth coordination between volunteers, beneficiaries, and stakeholders.
  3. Program Delivery: Support and manage events that involve external participants (e.g., workshops, training) to ensure smooth execution.
  4. Ensure Participant Engagement: Make sure participants feel welcomed, engaged, and informed during the event. Provide clarity on their role and expectations.


Requirements

What We’re Looking For?

Education: Any graduate degree

Experience: Previous experience in outreach, sales, or event hosting, preferably within a nonprofit or educational setting

Skills Required for the Job:

  • Sales and Outreach: Ability to engage with different stakeholders and source beneficiaries and volunteers effectively.
  • Event Hosting: Experience in facilitating and hosting events, including workshops, orientations, and training.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to engage with people and manage expectations.
  • Coordination: Ability to manage multiple moving parts and ensure smooth execution of outreach and event activities.
  • Relationship Building: Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Willing to travel and adapt to new environments as needed for outreach activities.
