Programmer Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting & Visualization

• Develop and maintain SSRS reports (tabular, matrix, drill-through, and parameterized reports)


• Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI


• Implement data visualization best practices (KPI cards, trend analysis, RAG indicators)


• Optimize reports for performance and usability

2. Data Integration & ETL

• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes


• Extract data from multiple sources (SQL Server, APIs, flat files)


• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and loading into reporting databases


• Schedule and monitor SSIS jobs for regular data refresh

3. Data Modeling & Analysis

• Design and maintain data models for Power BI


• Create DAX measures, calculated columns, and data relationships


• Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of reporting metrics

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather reporting requirements from business users, QA, and leadership


• Convert business needs into technical specifications


• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis

5. Deployment & Maintenance

• Deploy reports across environments (DEV, QA, PROD)


• Troubleshoot issues related to report generation, data accuracy, and performance


• Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and ETL processes

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in programming concepts, data structures, and problem‑solving. Basic knowledge of Microsoft technologies, exposure to Azure cloud services, and familiarity with Agile methodologies are preferred. Good communication skills, analytical thinking, willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams are essential.
