Project Engineering Manager

Wood is currently recruiting for Project Engineering Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. 

• Lead and support proposals by developing execution strategies, prepare and present execution plans
• Responsible for Cost, Schedule, quality and HSE requirements of the project
• Establish execution plans, project specific procedures and ensure they are followed
• Lead the project, present project status, critical issues, mitigation / action plans to client and FW Management
• Understands and manages the Technical Scope
• Able to challenge working method and deliverables
• Ensures project team know and comply with project scope
• Competent at managing and leading a large multi-discipline Engineering Team
• Has sound knowledge and understanding of a Contract. Can identify and react appropriately to change
• Familiar with project work sequence, activities and deliverables for Engineering Disciplines at any project phase
• Ensures the project Quality Management System supports deliverables preparation and method of execution
• Able to generate and authorize key documents including those directing Engineering strategy and implementation
• Implement and manage the work share strategies in a multi centre execution projects

• Must hold Bachelor degree in Engineering from one of the following specialization Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation / Civil & Structural / Electrical as min.
• Experience - Min 25 yrs exp in one or more of Oil & Gas (Downstream Refinery & Petchem / Offshore / LNG Projects ), in multidisciplinary execution aspects including engineering, projects etc. in the oil & gas projects
• Should have minimum experience of five (5) years as in-charge of engineering activities in any major oil & gas projects (Minimum value of US $ 100 Million)
• Should have minimum experience of five (5) years in leading one or more such projects mentioned above
• Should have been in Project Engineering or Project Management Roles leading multi discipline Engineering team
• Shall be responsible for the supervision and co-ordination for the technical activities of the consultant’s team related to checking of design and detailed engineering of the facilities.
• Should have a broad technical knowledge combined with excellent leadership skills
