Job Description - Project in Charge - MEP

The Project Manager – MEP is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and closing MEP projects while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, timelines, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage complete MEP project execution from initiation to handover.
  • Develop project schedules, resource plans, and procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire fighting, ELV, and utility systems.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and authorities.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams for smooth integration of MEP systems.
  • Resolve technical and site -related issues efficiently.
  • Monitor project costs and cash flow.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bills and vendor quotations.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify cost -saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Ensure all MEP works comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections.
  • Ensure testing & commissioning activities are completed successfully.
  • Maintain project documentation and compliance records.
  • Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Support training and development of junior staff.
  • Foster a safe and productive work environment.
