Project Management Lead - Fabrication

Position summary:  

Lead all
inhouse manufacturing activities resulting faster new product development and
productivity improvement of the existing parts. Project Management
Executive in Sheet Metal fabrication coordinates end -to -end projects from
design to delivery, ensuring timely execution within budgets specific to
manufacturing setups.

·       Evaluates manufacturing processes by
conducting manufacturing feasibility study

• Oversee
  project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement for
  sheet metal components like fabrication, tooling, and assembly.
  
• Coordinate
  with clients, engineers, suppliers, and production teams to meet
  specifications, resolve issues, and ensure quality compliance (e.g., ISO
  standards).
  
• Monitor
  costs, timelines, and risks; conduct reviews, audits, and reporting for
  stakeholders.
  
• Develop
  detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) for fabrication stages (cutting,
  punching, bending, welding, finishing)
  
• Liaise
  with the procurement team for raw material (CRCA, Stainless Steel, Aluminium)
  and coordinate with the production floor to manage machine uptime.
  

·       Provide
regular progress updates to clients and internal leadership; manage New Product
Development (NPD) cycles

·       Keeps equipment operational by coordinating
maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and
established procedures; requesting special service

 Education and experience

·       Diploma (Polytechnic/NTTF/GTTC) or
BE/B Tech in Mechanical with 6 -8 years’ experience in sheet metal
fabrication, preferred are
from Marine/Aerospace industry or low batch production environment

·       Minimum 6 -8 years of Proficiency
with Fiber Lasers, Press Brakes and MIG/TIG/SAW welding, AWS Procedures is must

·       Proficient in Computer skills in MS
Office and analytical applications

·       Experience in effective usage of
data analysis, tools and statistical analysis
