Arranging the Solutions upto their satisfaction as per mutually agreed timeline. (Specially in HVDC Projects)
  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and compliance with local/international regulations (e.g., IEC 61850, NETA).
  • Site Coordination: Supervise site technicians and contractors, manage manpower, coordinate schedules, and provide daily progress reports to the Project/Commissioning Manager.
  • Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT): Potentially participate in witnessing factory acceptance tests for major equipment before delivery to site.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. A Diploma in Electrical Engineering with more experience may also be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in testing and commissioning of HV/MV substations; experience with large-scale HVDC projects is highly preferred.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to 400kV and general knowledge of HVDC technology.
    • Proficiency in using testing equipment such as Omicron, Megger, Doble, CPC 100, and TTR testers.
    • Expertise in interpreting electrical single-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment wiring diagrams.
    • Familiarity with substation automation systems, communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus), and engineering software tools (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, ETAP, PSCAD) is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
