Project Manager

§  Create the project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines. Prepare scope of work and seek necessary approvals from customer and other stake holders.

§  Prepare detailed work breakdown structures and an execution plan. Adopt internal delivery tools to execute and track the work until closure.

§  Manage the cost, schedule and scope by overseeing project deliverables and make sure that they are in line with the plan. If not, revise them appropriately with the necessary approvals.

§  Evaluate the status of project versus plan and proactively identify possible project risks. Implement risk mitigation solutions as appropriate with the help of performance and project metrics.

§  Lead delivery assurance review sessions with technical and business teams, including all levels of management within Tarantula and the client organization.

§  Provide status reports to team members, Tarantula management, and clients.

§  Maintain consistency in the approach and integration of development efforts across the customer base and adhere to the benchmark processes in project delivery and quality assurance.

§  Effectively manage any changes to scope through robust change request processes, appropriate documentation, and required approvals. Carefully assess change impact from a technical and functional perspective and provide guidance to the team.

§  Be responsible for people management. Set concise and clear expectations about project deliverables and guide the team using appropriate methods and best practices.

Be responsible for the maintenance of knowledge base among the team members and guiding the team in enhancing technical capabilities and increase productivity.
