Job Description - Project Manager

As a Project Manager at SKO
Systems, you will support successful execution of software and technology
projects by coordinating across cross -functional teams. You’ll manage
schedules, remove blockers, track scope, and report progress. This role is
delivery -focused, requires high attention to detail, and directly contributes
to the Program Manager’s and organization's success by maintaining consistency,
transparency, and performance in execution.

Essential Functions / Deliverables

Project
Planning & Sprint Management: Collaborate with the Sr. Project Manager to
define sprint goals, capacity planning, and iteration timelines using
Agile/Scrum practices
Task
Coordination & Follow -up: Ensure tickets/stories are properly defined,
assigned, estimated, and updated. Coordinate with developers, QA, and designers
Progress &
Risk Tracking: Track sprint velocity, monitor deadlines, and proactively
escalate risks to Sr. Project Manager with mitigation options
Requirements
Validation & Clarification: Work with Business Analysts and clients to
ensure user stories and requirements are clear, testable, and aligned to goals
Client
Communication Support: Assist in creating and presenting weekly status reports,
release notes, and demo readiness updates
Tool Management
(Jira/ADO): Maintain project boards, workflows, and reports in Jira or Azure
DevOps. Ensure ticket hygiene and sprint health
Documentation
& Knowledge Sharing: Update Confluence, RAID logs, SOPs, meeting notes.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and lessons learned
Quality and
Delivery Assurance: Ensure QA coverage, regression checks, and UAT alignment
with delivery timelines. Coordinate signoff and documentation
Cross -Functional
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with BAs, PMO Analysts, QA, DevOps, and
UI/UX to maintain alignment and velocity
Continuous
Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to workflows, sprint
retro, and team velocity metrics. Contribute ideas to improve delivery
frameworks

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in
computer science, Engineering, or a related field

Certifications: PMP certification is preferred

Required Years and Area of
Professional Experience: 8 years and above experience, preferably in software development or software QA three to four years and four years of project management technology -led
environments

Project management
competency and tools awareness:

Project
Management Tools: Azure DevOps “ADO” or Jira
Methodologies: Agile,
Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid models
Lifecycle
Expertise: Full project lifecycle (requirements â design â integration â
testing)
Technical
Understanding: Ability to align software development with business objectives
Communication
& Documentation: Status reporting, change management, stakeholder communication
and planning

Professional competencies

Strong stakeholder management and client communication
skills
Ability to lead teams, track performance, and resolve
risks/issues
Experience in project scoping, scheduling, and budget
control
Proficient in creating and maintaining project documentation
Strong organizational, multitasking, and analytical
abilities

Excellent
coordination, organization, and delivery tracking
Ability to work
across multiple teams and manage dependencies
Strong
communication and reporting skills (verbal, written, visual)
Working
knowledge of SDLC, QA processes, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Detail -oriented
with a mindset for process improvement and delivery optimization
