About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Regulatory Reporting to lead regulatory reporting implementation projects from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of regulatory reporting processes, experience managing implementation lifecycles, and the ability to coordinate business and technology teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  Lead and manage regulatory reporting implementation projects from initiation and planning through execution and delivery.

  Understand regulatory reporting requirements and translate them into actionable project plans and deliverables.

  Coordinate with business, functional, technical, QA, and client teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve functional and implementation challenges.

  
  


• 
  

  Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and clients.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage cross-functional teams and ensure effective coordination across multiple workstreams.

  
  


• 
  

  Support regulatory reporting testing, implementation, deployment, and production stabilisation.

  
  


• 
  

  Drive issue resolution and escalate critical risks and blockers in a timely manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain project documentation, governance reports, action items, and delivery plans.

  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  

  10–15 years of overall professional experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or fintech.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience in regulatory reporting implementation projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Good functional understanding of regulatory reports and reporting processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding of the regulatory reporting lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data, validation, testing, implementation, and deployment.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong project planning, tracking, and delivery management capabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively with both business and technology teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  
  

Preferred Background

• 
  

  B.Tech, IT graduate, or Master's degree.

  Professional project management certification is preferred.

  Experience with banking regulatory reporting, financial reporting platforms, or regulatory technology (RegTech) is an advantage.

  Flexibility to collaborate closely with clients and project teams as required.
