We are looking for a proactive and execution-focused Project Site Engineer to manage on-ground construction activities for a building project based in Hisar. This role is critical to ensuring that engineering drawings are translated into high-quality physical outcomes through disciplined supervision, strong coordination, and strict adherence to timelines and safety standards.
As the primary on-site engineering representative, you will drive daily execution, maintain quality benchmarks, and ensure that construction progresses efficiently within approved budgets and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Supervision
Oversee day-to-day civil and structural construction activities at the project site.
Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and construction timelines.
Monitor parallel workstreams and ensure alignment with the master schedule.
Identify risks or delays early and implement timely corrective actions.
Planning & Technical Implementation
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to guide accurate site execution.
Support work planning, sequencing, and manpower deployment for optimized productivity.
Assist in material planning and ensure timely availability of resources at site.
Validate measurements and support quantity verification for billing and cost tracking.
Contractor & Vendor Management
Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Provide technical clarifications to avoid rework and execution errors.
Ensure effective communication across stakeholders to maintain workflow continuity.
Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance
Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets defined quality standards.
Enforce compliance with safety protocols, statutory norms, and internal guidelines.
Maintain site-level quality documentation and inspection checklists.
Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
Track daily progress, material consumption, and workforce efficiency.
Prepare structured daily and weekly progress reports for management review.
Maintain detailed site records, logs, and documentation for audit and tracking purposes.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects is advantageous.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site practices.
Ability to read and interpret BOQs, technical drawings, and project specifications.
Capability to independently manage multiple work fronts.
Work Requirements
Full-time presence at the Hisar project location.
Preference for candidates based in Haryana or willing to relocate immediately.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to operate effectively in dynamic site conditions.
