Job Description – Proposals Engineer

Reports to: Proposals Manager

Job Description

To accurately develop technical proposal and commercial estimate for process equipment and other items of process plants particularly for gas treating Business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Creating comprehensive engineering proposals tailored to client needs

· Understand project requirements, interpret specifications, and contribute technical expertise to the proposal.

· Reviewing project specifications and requirements to develop accurate proposals

· Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, technical, and management teams

· Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns

· Ensuring proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations

· Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements

Skills and Experience:

· Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies.

· Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering

· Min 1-3years of professional experience in design of equipment for the Chemical, Process Industries

· Hands on experience of chemical / process design and simulation programs like Hysys, ProMax Etc.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and analytical mindset.

· Proficiency in Microsoft office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies

· Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations
