PROS Smart CPQ Developer

We are looking for an experienced PROS Smart CPQ Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in CPQ implementation, configuration, customization, and integration. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PROS Smart CPQ, MACRO coding, Core Java, Business Rules, Constraints, Product Links, Bundles, and Quote-to-Cash processes.

The candidate should have successfully delivered at least 2 end-to-end PROS CPQ implementations and possess good knowledge of integrating PROS CPQ with Salesforce, Dynamics, and other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, customize, and implement solutions using PROS Smart CPQ based on business requirements.


• Deliver and support end-to-end PROS CPQ implementations.


• Develop and maintain MACRO code and Core Java customizations.


• Configure Business Rules, Constraints, Product Links, Bundles, and Product/Quote models.


• Prepare detailed Technical Design Documents (TDD).


• Develop data exchange modules between PROS CPQ and external applications.


• Define integration mappings and support implementation of integrations with external systems.


• Work with Salesforce/Dynamics and other enterprise applications for CPQ integration.


• Analyze and optimize application performance, scalability, responsiveness, and efficiency.


• Translate functional requirements into effective CPQ configurations and technical solutions.


• Validate business requirements from a functional and technical perspective.


• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve functional and technical defects.


• Support production issues, enhancements, and change requests.


• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, integration teams, and other technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of overall CPQ experience, with strong hands-on experience in PROS Smart CPQ.


• Minimum 2 end-to-end PROS CPQ implementations.


• Strong understanding of the PROS Smart CPQ ecosystem.


• Hands-on experience with MACRO coding.


• Strong knowledge of Core Java.


• Experience developing Business Rules and Constraints.


• Hands-on experience with Product Links, Bundles, and product configuration.


• Good understanding of the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process.


• Experience with CPQ configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.


• Experience with data exchange and integrations between PROS CPQ and external applications.


• Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.


• Experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics integration with PROS CPQ is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
